Thank you for registering to volunteer at Boo at the Zoo! Boo at the Zoo will be held on October 19, 20 and 21. You can volunteer as many nights as you would like: make sure to select which dates you are interested in volunteering for.

If you have never volunteered with us before, you'll need to create a User ID and password. We recommend you use your email address as your User ID.

If you have volunteered in the past, you are already in the database as an active volunteer. Please log in before signing upfor the event. If you don't remember your password, click on the "Reset Password" link and a new temporary password will be sent to your email address. If you have any other login issues, contact Rebecca Sohmer at sohmerr@si.edu.

You will receive a more detailed email with lots of information about volunteering closer to the event. But a few things to keep in mind: we provide free parking for volunteers, but it's at an off-exhibit part of the Zoo. We will shuttle you to the check-in location. Be sure to allow extra time for this if you are driving. Second, we encourage--but do not require--volunteers to dress in family-friendly costumes (nothing too scary or too sexy.) If you are not wearing a costume, we ask that you wear khaki bottoms and a plain, white top. Remember that you will be outside, so dress warmly if it's cold. We assign your job for the night at check-in. Finally, we provide you dinner at check-in. We will have a vegetarian option but will not be able to accommodate other dietary restrictions, so you may want to plan accordingly./p>

This event will be held rain or shine, so we need you even if the sun isn't shining!

If you're registering for another individual, please use a different e-mail to register that person.
